Did you know that 15% of the labor force in the Northeast Texas area is employed in manufacturing as opposed to 8% for the nation as a whole? Now Austin does, too.
Kilgore College has the recruits that businesses are looking for. And to help businesses make that connection the Career Services Department is sponsoring a Job Fair March 27, 2012, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Devall Student Center ballroom.

Kilgore Economic Development Corp. has joined forces with PAK-SHER, a Kilgore company that has been an innovator in the design and manufacture of carryout and kitchen prep packaging since the early 1970's, to involve local students in a coop recycling program utilizing new equipment at the company.
