Did you know that 53% are employed in white collar professions in Northeast Texas while 47% are employed in blue collar professions?  Now the staff at the Office of Economic Development and Tourism in Austin do, too.

Kilgore College has the recruits that businesses are looking for.  And to help businesses make that connection the Career Services Department is sponsoring a Job Fair March 27, 2012, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Devall Student Center ballroom.

Amen, Dr. King.  It's why economic developers do what they do.  It's why KEDC's mission is to enhance a business climate so that it is conducive to job creation and retention improving the standard of living for Kilgore residents.  It's the best kind of philanthropy.

Kilgore Economic Development Corp. has joined forces with PAK-SHER, a Kilgore company that has been an innovator in the design and manufacture of carryout and kitchen prep packaging since the early 1970's,   to involve local students in a coop recycling program utilizing new equipment at the company.
