Kilgore Economic Development Corporation Receives Honor From Kilgore College

On Friday, May 12th, Kilgore Economic Development Corporation was honored to attend Kilgore College's spring commencement and be recognized as a recipient of the Blue Ribbon Medal of Excellence for Student Success.

KEDC is proud to collaborate with Kilgore College as they develop the state-of-the-art Transportation Institute in East Kilgore Industrial Park. The longstanding partnership between KEDC and Kilgore College has added hundreds of jobs and skilled workers to the local economic landscape, bringing new opportunities to the residents of Kilgore. Kilgore College’s commitment to Career and Technical Education programming has created a strong and qualified workforce that is trained to the specialized needs of current and future corporate citizens.
