WHY WAGNER RELOCATED TO KILGORE
After meeting WAGNERTUNING at a recruiting event in California, KEDC worked for two years and made two trips to the company's German Headquarters to secure a deal that would establish a new manufacturing facility in Kilgore.
KEDC offered an array of incentives, including land at the picturesque, steadily developing Synergy park, the only campus-style business park in the Northeast Texas region. The custom-fit bonus of the pre-designed building program KEDC had invested in was the linchpin of WAGNERTUNING's investment in Kilgore. Other incentives included an initial buy-down of the lease rate in the beginning years and tax abatements from the city, county, and community college.

THE DETAILS
Wagner Tuning signed a 20-year triple-net lease with an option to purchase the KEDC-owned building. Kilgore is now the company’s first North American manufacturing hub. Since its successful establishment in Kilgore, WAGNERTUNING has since relocated its California sales component to Kilgore.
The new manufacturing facility is estimated to be a capital investment of $6,200,000 in real and personal property with 30 new jobs.
