Crawford Joins KEDC team

KILGORE, TX – After a nationwide search, Kilgore Economic Development Corporation (KEDC) is pleased to announce the addition of Sarah Crawford to the organization as Business Development Manager.

A graduate from University of Texas at Tyler with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development and a minor in Business Administration, Crawford brings with her years of experience in the real estate and municipal government worlds. She will begin her role at KEDC on March 13th.

“With recent changes in KEDC staff, we have reorganized responsibilities for the organization. The experience Sarah brings in human resources, public finance and real estate will be of great benefit to both our retention and attraction efforts,” said Executive Director Lisa Denton. “Sarah’s primary focus will be on maintaining relationships with our existing industries, and continuing to build on the current business retention programs we have in place.”

Crawford is a multi-million-dollar producer as a licensed real estate agent with East Texas Preferred Properties, and most recently served in the City of Henderson’s finance and human resource departments.

“I am honored and humbled to have been chosen as the Business Development Manager for Kilgore Economic Development Corporation. It is a privilege to serve and invest in Kilgore in this capacity and I am optimistic about what the future holds.”

When she’s not in the office or showing houses, Crawford serves as a volunteer firefighter with her husband, Kyle, for the New London Volunteer Fire Department.
